Azotic has developed technology using the bacteria Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus (Gd). Gd is a naturally occurring, food-grade bacteria that is capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into a usable form for multiple crop species. Gd helps farmers with their nitrogen strategy and can be applied to many crops such as corn, potatoes, cotton, rice, and soybeans, among others.
Farmers can use various application methods at different times during the growing season. Benefits of using the technology include higher yields, an increase in quality and nitrogen supplementation.
